“IRD makes some decent stuff. But, their Blackbird handlebars are absolutely unbelievable. I have put them on all of my road bikes. As I get older, my hands are not what they used to be. The flattened tops on these bars are so comfortable and provide such a relief that there is literally nothing in the entire bike industry to compare. The closest thing is the set from FSA. Unfortunately, last year they were changed to a shallow drop and the bar was basically ruined as a race bar. There is not enough drop to produce any real pull for sprinting or getting low and aero. The Blackbird has enough drop to make it work well for racing. For anyone with injured or arthritic hands, the Blackbird is terrific.
